Does anyone know if the center console piece around the shift knob (gear) is the same for E46 coupe, whether its an M3 or not, and same for SMG?
Refer to part number (10) in picture.

I need 100% answers! no guessing.

LSB what do u mean ?? i didnt follow ur question...part #10 is the same for all E46 M3s that are SMGs ..... if thats wht ur askin...

Part number 10 is the same for a e46 coupe M and non-M.... the only one that differs is the convertible.

in the left vertical column the convertible has a 3rd button to raise/lower all the windows unlike the coupes that have a smaller length opening compensating for only 2 buttons.

Regarding manual or smg the only difference is the Dome which comes on top of item number 10. that's not in the pic.

Thats what i ment, if that #10 piece is the same for all 3 series coupes? cause i was planning to buy one that fits a 330 coupe. I own an M3. The seller is not sure if it will fit mine!

yes all coupes will fit as long as you're not buying it from a convertible. what's wrong with yours? if you can wait for about 2-3 weeks i'll be getting my CF trim and will be able to give you mine

What are u taking off exactly?
I have the titanium trim, and it keeps getting cracked from heat! This is the 4th piece i exchange! it seems like i will keep doing so, or change entire trim to something other than titanium!
Please let me know!

u park ur car in the sun ? ... get a good tint :D .. hehe or you could change the full trim to Carbon Fiber ....will cost for full kit around 8 peices with steering wheel trim full replacment kit around 650 $

I have the V.cool tint! parking is an issue! when i go to my clients, the car ends up being parked for hours and hours under the sun!

anyways the regular set comes 8 pieces but i'm also ordering the 9th piece which is the steering cover.

they are known to fade or crack... but the multiple occurrence in LSB's case is very weird.

i never had any issue in my convertible back in the days but i do have some messed up trim parts. and i believe rafik has something similar to me as well but way less.

Installed by BMW, but they said its a common problem for the titanium finish trim. cracks under heat!
So bruno, which interior do u have? I'm interested, thats if they can come off without being broken ;)

the grey trim ...the dark one. I didnt face the problem thanked god !!
