they say that methanol injection is eq. to 100 octane race gas ,dynos are showing 30 RWHP gains with meth!...this is NOTHING like the octane boosters found in gas stations...

That actually makes a lot of sense.

I have herd that the methanol octane count can go up to 114. However, it does produce more water and corrosive acids during combustion, which would lead to higher engine wear.

it depends on the water / methanol ratio you are using ,they say that 50/50 is the safest ,it also depends on who did te mixed for you ,if you buy it from the market ,they will use distilled water instead of tap water ,that means no minerals to cause acidic affects.

Not all windshield fluid has the same % of mixture. It depends on the temperature ratings of the windshield washer fluid. Meth percentages rang from 1% to around 68%.

Are you going to tune for meth, or are you using it for extra safety under full boost?

am going to install a methanol injection kit that uses WW tank!...its completely plug and play!

Special And Super fuel show around 30 horsepower difference on the dyno. Meth kits only cool down your intake, thus making your ecu allow more power to be pushed out
