M52tu 2.0L to M52tu 2.5L

Hey guys i was thinking to swap a 2.0 litre e46 with m52tu to 2.5 litre e46 m52tu ive hear that its just a plug n play and after that only a dme remap is needed is this correct ??
need ur sincere and experienced opinions guys :)

i was thinking of doing the same, but then thought it was not worth it, until my engine explodes. which will not happen anytime soon since it's a low mileage.

btw i have the m54b22 in my wagon.
