    BMW 316i Bluetooth function

    Hi,

I recently bought a 316i 2012 model. Driven 78K. I find that there are calling option available in the steering but i am unable to pair my phone to the car. I do not see any option in the menu. I have tried many different procedures by checking online but none of them works.

Do i really have bluetooth in my car? If so, how do check / activate it?

    Regards
    Jithin

In general , that button you see on steering wheel is standard button , BMW will fit it no matter if the car has bluetooth or not .

I can help you more if you post your car chassis number , then I can tell you if your car has bluetooth ,

Hi, i find my BMW 316i too noisy when turned on. I feel its too noisy when i stand outside the car however i don't here or feel it when i am in.

Also i feel that the pull is too low, may be the torque is not enough to pull the body weight. when stalled in traffic, rpm reaches up to 3000 jus to move the car from 0 to 35 and it gives awful lot sound.
is this normal or do i need to get this car checked?
      this is a 2012 model 316i run 80000km now

So i guess the car didnt come from the factory with the BMW standard bluetooth.

You are probably better off getting an aftermarket one with more bells & whistles

Get a cylinder pressure test done to see if they are operating between the optimal settings.

The engine is a fairly low output/low capacity engine. So yes, it might need some additional throttle to get the car moving. No harm in running some diagnostic tests through

Can you suggest a place or market to get the Bluetooth done?
