ipod integration into an e39 m5 w/ navigation?

hey guys, i have an 02 m5 w/ 16:9 navigation.
i want to intigrate my ipod into the navigation, so i can select songs/artists from the navigation.
1- is it possible?
2- where and how do i buy a kit?
3- is it easy to install by myself (pretty much zero experience in car audio).

Hey sleepy, congrats and welcome abroad. Nice car, I think your car looks more like Blue Water Metallic than Silverstone Metallic in the last pic, ive got the Blue Water Metallic.
The question you've asked is actually what I was thinking once, but then since even I dont have any idea about the ipod installation, I just ignored it.

Look at products from Dension or DICE for iPod Integration, I've installed a Dension Icelink Plus on my old car, and helped install a DICE Silverline on another car, both are great products, go with which ever one you want depending on the features you are looking for

yellow hat is the dealer... and that's where ahmad got his from. it will cost you 800 dirhams to buy it from them and they will charge you 500 dirhams to install it for you.

if you don't trust international mail which will cost $160+shipping , then get it from them for 800 dirhams.


if you plan to get it we can help you install it without wasting 500 dirhams for them to do the installation. it just took us 1.5 hours to do so. petrolhead, yousif, ahmad and i were there. ahmad post some pics :D
