I need a favor, if you buy a car from US the radio will use different frequency right than UAE? If so how do we change it to make it work in Dubai?

Driving US spec cars we never had to change anything with the radio. But I think recently Bruno had to do something when he had his US-spec E46 M3 in that regard.

I think, correct me anyone, US spec radios can't play certain frequencies... I think stations ending with even numbers. This is what happened to some of my friends when they got their cars from Canada and US.

e.g. station 99.6 doesn't play... am I a relic and this has changed since then?

So if the car comes it should work? Only a few station will not work, right?

all stations that end in even decimals won't work, or might work but the reception won't be great.. for ex u can't select 104.4

i'd also love to hear the answer.. it'll make sense if a reprogramming of the radio would work :)

i would say that it not so hard to change and reset the radio for our region, as it does have the higher frequancy range (not like japan imported cars with the short frequancy range).

maybe ull need to swap the radio receiver unite installed at the back.

so Dubai is high frequancy? asking that cause the guy i m buying the car asked me about the frequancies in Dubai
