E39 M5 MAFs

hi everyone,

6 months ago i changed both air mass sensors and today i got one failure :( the spare parts shop called speed parts in abu dhabi told me that there is no warranty on electronics ! anyways i couldnt do anything with him.. and im bit lost about 2 options:

1. get 2 MAFs from beastpower.com from usa for 345$
2. get them locally from central but with warranty as ayham said

the cost in option 2 will be around double the price of option 1 ! this is what i paid last time 2200 dhs.

in option 1, i can get them free shipment because my friend is coming from usa.

Once you buy any electronic part there's no way you can return it. That's the bottom line for all parts shops.
If your friend can get them for you from the USA for the above price, then yeah. As long as they're Genuine BMW OEM replacements. If not, then bite the bullet and get them from here.

one is faulty, we got the fault msg on gt1. also when u plug it in, the car doesnt work, now i am driving without the left side sensor until i get a new one.

As long as they're dry they should be fine. I'm trying to find my source for MAF's from the states. I would never pay 2000 AED for MAF's. I'll let yo know how much I can get them for.

ok to end this subject, bmw dealers dont give warranty on electronics as sewerside up said and beast power is not offering the OEM sensor for the price that i mentioned in my first post. conclusion i will buy the OEM sensor from abu dhabi motors after discount 945dhs.

really ! OEM ? not after market ? because many aftermarket are available..
