iDrive hidden menu - ECU List

i thought i will share my findings with you guys. if this has been posted before, apologies :-)

source : iDrive hidden menus - e90

make sure you are in the maine menu on ur screen ( "i" with 4 arrows)
- Press and hold iDrive for 10 seconds
- release
- rotate knob 3 times clockwise (right)
- rotate 3 times counter clock wise (left)
- rotate 1 time right
- rotate 1 time left
- rotate 1 time right
- press iDrive and release

and you will get something that looks like this, with lots of information which actually doesn't mean a lot to me :D except this one, which shows apparently the actual speed as per the GPS calculation ;-)

I actually tried it on my way to work today, and found that the GPS speed is more by 6 km/h than the needle ! and it keeps slightly increasing by speed. wow, this can increase the possibility of getting flashed ! lol

maybe its the 21's ? although the diameter is only 1% more than the 19's w/ tires.

elchemor, can you try fixing your speed at 100 km/h and see what the GPS speed reads ?

hey stratus, came back last night, today was driving back from Dubai, i was on cruise control 100 GPS reading was 97, 140 GPS reading 135, 160 GPS reading was 154~155. Which is ± 3" less then the speedometer !
it should be your 21"s i guess !!! take care :D

I think I need to test this again lol maybe I can get a recalibration if it was really off.
