    E46 M3 Ipod interface

    Guys,

    Does anyone know where I can install an ipod interface for my m3? not something tuned through the radio. A proper interface that I can install and control through the OBC.

    Came across a system called DICE. Anyone heard or installed it here in UAE?

    Appreciate your advice :)

      i have it on my car.... i did the installation myself with the help of professor petrolhead...

        Yeah get the DICE interface it is one of the best ones I have come across (I had and older incarnation in my 330, and liked it more than my current OEM BMW one in the M5)... I helped Mr. Bruno install it, very easy to install.

          and what is the connection ur using to connect to the i-pod ...is it the normal Audio input ?! .....like this ?

                  Nope, this replaces the changer... Clarity is good, and also depends on the bitrate of the encoded files

                      there is a wire that starts rolling from the cdchanger in the trunk under the seats- under the door sills all the way into your glovebox from the passenger side. you will have to drop the glovebox and install the dice device in there behind the glove box next to the fuse compartment. from that device another wire will be dangling into the box.
