    help...

Anyone know how to setup the bluetooth system in the car? I've got the Bluetooth passkey but I can't seem to get the thing started!

I don't seem to have the Operating Instructions for the Bluetooth Device.

    Can anyone help?

I think it's the original BMW bluetooth... the Bluetooth passkey is attached to the Operating Instructions for On-Board Computer.

          How can I check?

            1. Press call button and turn ignition key to position 1 at the same time, release after 5 secs till all three lights light up (red, yellow, green)
            2. blue tooth pairing will show up on your screen
            3. Pair it with your phone by entering bluetooth passcode
            4. turn off ignition and start the car
            5. Voila ... u r done!

wow!! such technical things to pair a phone to your car !? Wasnt it just about setting your own passkey and re-entering it from your phone ? or car ? whichever comes second!??

DAMN i thought this era was about simplicity!

IIRC the passcode should be on a sticker that is pasted on the BT modual in the back.
