    e46 m3 rear diffuser replacement

    Guys,

    anyone have any info on the rear diffuser replacement for the e46 m3? what tools are required? where the fastners are? what to watch out for etc??

    i havent looked underneath yet...so just wondering.

    Wanted tony edwards to do it, but they refused. new policy apparently. only authentic BMW parts. hmmmmm :dunno:

    anywayz....bruno...i think you will have a pretty good idea...you had done it for your m3. got my CF diffuser today :clap:

    here is step-by-step diffuser replacement procedure. http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showt...56#post2689156

    you will have 6 clips underneath the diffuser. in the DIY thread he used to the dremel to trim down one of the upper clips in the delsa diffuser that was longer than usual. but in my diffuser it was perfect i unplugged the stock diffuser and placed that delsa one then took it back off and got it painted and replaced it the second day.

    note: before painting it just make sure you fit on the car first to insure that it fits perfectly.

          well guys....managed to install the rear diffuser yday...looks good :)... i would say 98% fitment was achieved. minor gaps are present, but not noticeable to the normal eye ;)
