Excuse my ignorance... can you please clarify your statement? Judging on the join dates and history of BMW Vehicles i dont think there is a question here who is more of an enthusiast..Sorry.. nothing personal..

But yes, we are actually a Wholeseller for all kind of automotive and car care products but the retail buisness is not even 0.5 % of our income.. So i wont become rich of tinting windows of cars..

I am only giving good advises here how to get the best possible product for your money.. Honestly.. i dont really need to market anything here.. And i also dont really mind if all of you run to 3M or anywhere and get the job done.. I am trying to give club members a benefit.. but it looks like this is not beeing recognized!

With respect to both of you, FYI Hasan, Franz is by far one of the biggest enthusiast of BMWs in this Club, he's offered alot of help/advices and specially deals which have been benefitial for many Club members..

Regarding the window tint, this is just another initiative from Him to approach interested members, and I know him very well, he wont advise/suggest something without him having tried it.

So both of you kindly stop any arguements to occur, whoever is interested may take it or else you're not forced to.

I've got 3M in my Tiida, and it's fine. I got an excellent offer so I'm not complaining.

About the windshield, if anyone can prove that it WON'T be a problem with Dubai/Sharjah cops, I'm in!

For my MX-5, I'm considering tints too, so you're recommending Sungard? My windows are tiny, and so is my windshield! Price, etc.? I'm only concerned with heat, UV and glare reduction. I don't want it to be dark.

Your not going to put a 30% tint on the whole windshield .

3M offers you a transparent tint which is like 0% tint, so no the cops won't stop you.

ya i used to have the 3M 0% tint on my front windshield and it was pretty good... highly recommended!

but if the cops stop you and find out u have the front windshield tinted u will be fined and asked to remove it

Actually, there should be a rule on the forum that would require every person recommending a product or a service provider to disclose their relationship with the manufacturer, seller or service provider.

Especially if a blood relation or a business relationship exists between the parties.

To beat the heat you can still choose to go all around transparent without any black tint, that wont cause you trouble.. But if you have black on sides and add transparent on windscreen then yes thats against the rules..

Actually, thats the ethical thing to do. You should not need rules to tell you that. You should do it of your own account.
