Update Contains:

• A full new format and layout to the forum, making the experience better to old and new members. This layout includes new forums and subforums for better category listings and searches.
• Thread Prefixes are urged to be used by users to save the time for all during searching and reading.
  • [H] = Help/Problem Thread
  • [SOLVED] = Problem Solved/Help Received
  • [M] = Mod/Tune Thread
  • [Q] = Question Thread
    
    Note: I will start cleaning the forum by moving threads to their right places and adding the proper prefix for each. Please help from your side as well.

Update Contains:

• MarketPlace: Introducing the all new Marketplace for users to sell and buy products with a very professional system. It is eBay like system that eases the process of getting your products through the market.
  • Multiple Listing Types: Auction, Buy-it-Now (with stock support) and Wanted Items Listings Types to allow your users to sell and barter for items in a variety of ways.
  • Automatic Image Resizing: All images added to the classifieds system will be resized and have a thumbnails generated. This will help reduce the page load time but not having to download the full image when you just need the thumbnail.
  • Stock Control: Buy-it-Now listings have a complete stock control that can be adjusted and allows for multiple purchases by different users.
  • Postage and Address: Multiple postage options can be added per user as well as a variety of addresses letting users choose where they want items delivered to and at whatever price they prefer.
  • Feedback System: Allow users to leave feedback about transactions including comments and a customizable ranking.
  • Watch Items, Save Searches and Users: Users can save items to their watch list and choose to store searches for easy reuse at a later time. Sellers and Buyers can also be added to lists so that their latest items can be found easily.
  • Categories and Specifications System: An unlimited amount of categories can be created, allowing for subcategories and specifications creating a huge range of options that can help users specify exactly what they are selling.
  • Payment Processors: Integrated payment processors, including PayPal, to allow users to pay for their items and their fees.
  • Featured Listings: Allow users to feature their items for an optional fee as well as allowing control over how many items they can feature.

Update Contains:

• Pop-up Notification (Baloon Style): Notifications are now displayed in a whole new style. They will be displayed in a Baloon Style Pop-up window located at the bottom left of your screen. This makes the user's experience better and eases the visibility of notifications.
• Users Awaiting Moderation Pop-Up: Users who are awaiting email confirmation will have a pop-up displayed for them notifying them about the email that needs confirming. Example below:

Update Contains:

• TinyPic Plug-In: TinyPic is an external website that provides a database for your images to be stored on. This allows our forum to run smoother and faster rather than uploading your images to our database directly. The plug-in is placed directly under the reply box and a video tutorial is shown in THIS post.
• Link Fetcher: External Links can now be fetched with a thumbnail preview as well as title information.

• User Tagging: Now with this cool feature you will be able to tag your friends on this board by using the simple code.
  The code works as follows:

  [MENTION]Username[/MENTION]

  or you may click the newly added icon () and then enter the username.
• Birthday Greeter: An automatic system that creates threads greeting birthday boys/girls in the Birthday Forum.
• Sticky Threads Separator: Sticky Threads are now separated from normal threads for a higher priority.
• Advanced Forum Statistics: Below all forums in the main forum index page, you will see a large box showing custom information of your choice and extra statistics of BMW Club UAE.
• Statuses/IDs: Below each username, a colored status is shown (Online/Offline) along with the user ID number.
• Quick Reply Extra Buttons: Custom Icons and functions are added to the Quick Reply box, making the experience better for every user.

Admin Related Updates:

• Admin Notes: Ability to write Notes/Tips/Infos/Warnings on user's actual post.
• Automatic Inactive Users Email Reminder: User who haven't visited our forum for more than 6 months will be emailed and reminded of what they have missed.
• Template Modification System: An automatic and easier way of editing forum templates and styles.

Update Contains:

• Automatic Youtube Link Converter: Post your youtube videos by just pasting the the youtube video link inside your post and the vBulletin will convert it automatically to a watchable video.
• Live Chat Box: A Live chat box for users to talk to each other publicly, however, forum rules still apply to this chat box and any user posting swear words, or disrespecting other user, or violating any BMW Club UAE rule will be dealt with.
• Facebook Integration: Now you can connect your facebook account to vBulletin and possibly share your vBulletin Post to Facebook.
• Thanks, Likes System: With this system, users can like and thank other users' posts earning them a better reputation.
• Dark Theme: An installation of a dark theme, adding another theme to our current "white" one making a total of two themes, more to come in the near future.
• Live Search Engine: This function views instant results for your search after 3 character input.
