    Collector's E39 M5 in Dubai

    Spotted this unbelievable masterpiece collector's item in Dubai, by a good friend..

    Year 2000 E39 M5, its said the car was Carbon Black and stored in Germany, it was now brought in without plates to AGMC, recently it has been repainted at AGMC.. The first engine blew at 400 Kms (no idea how), so its got a brand new engine and the mileage on the clock now is only 636 Kms.. It has been recently registered in Dubai and the car has been given away to someone as a gift who wanted it in Titanium Silver and facelifted..

              I forgot to take pics when it was still carbon black.. In my opinion what they did was not right..

              They painted a brand new car in a different color and facelifted it..

              It should have been kept in its original condition since its a Museum piece... It was the fastest Sedan of its time...

              The funny part is.. that the lucky person who got it didnt wanted it in carbon black.. so they painted it in Silver for him.. I mean.. come on.. you get a gift and then you ask the person to change it for you... PFFF

                        this is as far as i understand (correct me if i am wrong) a public forum, where people share ideas on how to make the bmw lifestyle better and more pleasurable and enjoyable..where we benefit from others mistakes and learn from our own ,share experiences..all in a common goal to make everything and everyone better, not the opposite.. do i need to remind everyone of all the laughs we had and how many times we shared food and shisha together..how many times we all stayed up late to fix anothers friend (brother) issues?? This is what makes a community, us, people..a common understanding and fellowship..respect
