    My latest project - E30 325i

As the title says here is my latest acquisition, its an E30 '91 325, i found this car after months of searching, until i found one worth considering, when i bought it, it was in good condition but needed some cosmetic work and regular mechanical repairs, and it had automatic transmission.

All the work was done in Mussafah-AUH

    Work done:

    Bodywork:
    - fixed all dents and dings and did a total respray in same original two tone colors.
    - replaced front and rear emblems with new ones cuz they were old and worn out.

    Mechanical repair (full engine rebuild):
    - regular engine maintenance (fluids, filters, fuel pump, belts, plugs)
    - new brake discs and pads.
    - head port n polish.
    - piston face polish

    Mods:
    - chip from VAC Motorsports.
    - H&R sport springs.
    - Bilstien sport shocks.
    - changed trans to short shifted 5-speed manual.
    - installed LSD.
    - catalytic converter removed.

    Here are the picks:

    when bought:

    The engine was taken apart:

Put everything together again clean and polished:

    Suspension installed:

This is how its looking now:

    Interior pics to come

    Cheers!

yes Rami please tell everybody how much you paid. In fact while you're at it i'd like to know how much you make and how much you have in your savings account. why not mention if you're a boxers or briefs kind of guy since we're getting personal :s

so what ratio LSD do you have in it? i forgot to ask you when i drove it but i remember it's damn short. Amazing but short; usually two attributes that don't go well together but in this case its perfect.

Hahaha, nashar I missed your twisted outlook on life on these forums. Defo an acquired taste guy...

Rami, glad to see one rescued. Saw the pics in the office a while back, my left foot and right hand were sending weird signals *hint hint: a nice sideway toy potential*. Apologies I haven't read the full post of yours, I'll be asking you for some tech details shortly :)

Ayham whenever you feel these weird "signals" there's no need to use your feet. left or right hand will do just fine or if you're really blessed both hands.

at the begining I had a non LSD 3.91 diff set up to be fit with the LSD link, but then i came across a 4.1 LSD, so i decided to crank it up a lil and go for it, got it checked, cleaned up, re-lubed, and bolted on.

its quite noisy and annoying on long drives, but u saw what it did on those short sprints!!!!

i decided to go with ur advise on the vented diff case but it seems difficult to find!!!
