    Thanks Guys!

    I miss the Road Runner too.

    Damn! the torque on that thing was unbelievable. You felt as if the car had no weight. It was like moving in a vaccum.

            Congratulations even though I believe you've had it for a while now. I love the piano black decorative pieces on the interior. And one thing I may add here, the Alpinas are very nice but comfort has been on the agenda whereas the M6 is more of a driver's car. At least this is how I see them. Both very respectable cars though.

              Thanks Arashgha!

              You are absolutely correct my friend. Alpina lacks the cornering ability that the ///M cars have. Otherwise, they are slightly ahead in terms of acceleration. Top speed is almost the same.

              The most interesting comparison is the HP/Torque curve.

              Alpina B5 BiTurbo 4.4L V8 BiTurbo

              200 BHP @ 2200 rpm
              700 NM constant between 2500 rpm to 4900 rpm (DAEM) :wow:

              ///M6 5L V10 NA

              200 BHP @ 4000 rpm
              400 NM almost constant between 4000 rpm to 7000 rpm

              (Someone correct me on the S85 numbers, I am not very sure about them)

                as i know Alpina with N62 B44 engine produce 368 kW @ 5500 rpm & 700 Nm @ 4250 rpm while S85 B50 produce 373 kW @ 7750 rpm & 520 Nm @ 6100 rpm

                        I don't want to get too carried away now, but I am lucky enough to drive them all as I'm in the BMW zoo but I tell you one thing guys. Everytime I'm driving a turbocharged or a supercharged engine, I'm just ridiculing it for being a non-normally-aspirated plant. I know at the end of the day it's all about the power but the consistency of how that's delivered matters a lot to me.

                        One thing's for sure though, who can go past those amazing Alpina interiors? They really do wonders with those stitchings!
