Valentino Rossi has once again grabbed the MotoGP title and two honor his victory, BMW presented him with a brand new BMW M3 sedan and let him take a few hot laps in the new 2011 BMW M3 GTS.

“With his fleet of cars acquired through the BMW M Award, Valentino Rossi is a certified expert on BMW M,” BMW said in a statement. “So it hardly came as a surprise when the nine-times MotoGP world champion expressed an urgent wish after covering the first few kilometres of the home journey at the wheel of the BMW M3 GTS: he wants to add to his private fleet an individually manufactured BMW M3 GTS made at the BMW production workshop.”

He didn't... BMW just is one of the main sponsors (and safety cars) for MotoGP/Superbikes and is giving away cars to the title winners, I believe last year they gave out a Z4M Coupe or Roadster to the winner...
