Photo of Showroom Ready BMW Z4 Sneaks out of Dealership

The first photo of a ready-to-sell BMW Z4 has leaked out of an undisclosed dealership. Not meant to be seen by the public until December 15th, the picture shows the final draft of the shiny roadster.

The BMW Z4 will sport an electro-mechanical differential called sDrive, and will likely have an additional engine option in addition to those already available. This new Z4 is thought to have 2.0-, 2.5-, and 3.0-litre engines, as well as a 3.0-litre twin turbo, and a massive 4.0-litre V8 from the M division.

Still uncertain is the auto show which will receive the new Z4 on a pedestal for its adoring public. The appearance of this photo makes us suspect a Detroit appearance may be imminent.

The new BMW Z4 will be produced at the Regensburg plant in Germany. The previous version was produced in Spartanburg.

Doesn't look that good from the front... too busy looking, looks like a E90 3er front

I know from the pic it looks like a softop... but the new Z4 will be coming as a folding hardtop only, from what is being said on magazines and web

2010 BMW Z4 leaked brochure image reveals back side

Just yesterday we reported on a covertly acquired image of the all new 2010 BMW Z4 taken on a movie set and not a dealership as originally reported. And now, what appears to be a photo of the Z4 brochure has spilled its way onto the web as well, this time showing a rear end view and folding hard top roof.

Word on the cyber street is that the new Z4 makes its media debut on December 15 with a possible public debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

Despite the somehwat distorted view of the image, the overall rear end design looks promising. Let us know what you think in your comments below, compared to yesterday's front side image.

Rear looks good, similar to a 6er... but the pic looks too photoshoped to be considered looking like a real car
