Throwing this out there to see what response we get.

Yes, another Track Evening. 15 July 2011 - Club Circuit. Starts at 17:30 (same as the last one)

I have asked DA to see if we can get the same discounts as we got last time i.e.:

min 10 cars - 30% off the AED600 price
min 15 cars - 50% of the AED600 price.

So, who wants another piece of the action?

I think the last trackday the temperature in the evening was in mid-late 30s too..

Not sure what to do here. Weather is starting to pick up somewhat and I defo know it will get any better.

There are 2 Track days in August: starting at 17:30 which if you are abstaining during Ramadan, is IMHO just NO GO - so basically non-muslims only, unless you are hardcore :bow:

My solution would be have a big event in September - push DA for a discount.

I think pushing it towards September is the better option

• 2 weather will start to get better

Well, 4-5 of us will be going to the Track day on 15 July.

If anybody wants to turn up, please be there by 17:00 - timetable as below (it will not be a late night!):

5.30 – Arrival – Race Administration (Prompt Arrival please)
6.00 – Briefing Covering Basics (Lines, Hands etc)
6.10 – First Session (Group A Advanced) + additional theory for beginners
6.30 – Familiarization Laps (Group B New Comers)
6.40 – First Session (Group B New Comers)
7.00 – Second Session (Group A Advanced)
7.20 – Second Session (Group B New Comers)
7.40 – Third Session (Group A Advanced)
8.00 – Third Session (Group B Newcomers)

I made it to watch the two final sessions. Not many road cars in the advanced group compared to the beginners group. Its was only Yorky's E36M3 and the Black Evo, but there was about 6 Radicals in their group. Both SR3 and SR8's. Very nice cars!
Weather wasn't bad at all, just like it was on the 1st. Track was dusty as usual.

It was mostly a practice session for the Radicals and a nice fight between the M3 and the Evo. Then came the Z06 Vette that held up with the Radicals on the straights but stood no chance on the corners!

Overall, it was a good and quiet session. Didn't have a camera, so no photos from me, sorry! :D

So that was you eh? I knew I'd seen that red Beamer somewhere. It was a quite session, but bloody hot. I skipped the last session as I had to get going.
