This topic had to come up sooner or later. Just wanna know how you guys are doing with your cards...
So far, I have done my pre-registration, but am having trouble booking an appointment online.
Or is the best way to use "connections?"

Dear All,



Attached, please find below information from EIDA. You are kindly advised to process the Emirates ID cards on your own leisure time and all charges will be borne by the individuals. Forms can be typed in the center itself for Dhs.40/- and EIDA card charges are Dhs.100/- per year.



EIDA Center timings are as follows:-



Sunday thru Thursday 07:30 am to 10:00 pm

Saturday 07:30 am to 02:00 pm.

its working alright...best time is 12am-2am. thats what i was up doing last night. after you do the form, dont forget to book an appointment-either mobile service or the regular ones in barsha or rashidya.

PS. ensure you have Adobe reader (to save the copy) or a LASERJET printer (to print out immediately) otherwise you will lose all your efforts

Nope, all the forms are filled in Arabic only, even if you click English on the website the Arabic form will pop up.

i believe my company will arrange everything for this registration.

Some companies have started arranging appointments for their staff, rather than staff going and waiting for long hours in the queue.. it helps !
