    Help with Shark Injector Performance Software

    Guys how do you rate the shark injector performance software on E39 M5.

    according to one friend it is a day and night difference on the power.

    i have it already installed but the only thing is i feel my car is running too rich on the fuel... any feedback please like an average is 5-6km/l.

    Having high fuel consumption can be due to many different reason. If you try Viezu's remap, you notice a better fuel consumption since it does make the car more economical when driven in a humanly way, but other than that it drinks fuel as all other maps do.

    However, check your MAF.. It could be dead.

      Mass-produced maps are programmed to run rich, not too good for power but safe for the engine. That's the only way they can claim engine warranty. What changes is the throttle response, which can be and is misleading.
