Your openion about lighting please

I have foggy halogen headlights in my e46, and would like to go convert to "Depo" projecotrs, and I have the choice to install the xenon on it if I want later.
But some friends adviced me to keep halogen headlights since they R brighter and better than the projectors.
And regarding installing xenon sys, some also is telling that I'll have many trouble with it!!

I'm confused. and in need of your advise.

offcourse OEM headlights ( Halogen or Projector ) are better than Dippo ,,

but Halogen reflector will never ever be better than Projector

you always get what you paid for .. cheap xenon = troubles + flickering + ugly cheap color

Ok so.. if I found used nice oem projectores, will be easy to fix. How about wiring and other stuff. does it need much work modifying. Or it just plug & play.
For the Xenon, I think we can finde good quality bulbs + the ballast. but I heard it needs some programing, dont know exactly.
I need full info if someone have already convert from halogens to oem projectors.
