Angel Eyes on E46 Facelift Coupe

So I have decided to go the way of the ccfl angel eyes and bixenon upgrade. It sounds like a few people in here are experts and can do the upgrade for a brother. Unfortunately, I don't have pm privileges yet, so this is a shout out for help from the resident lighting specialists.

Ehssan is the man... I did the CCFL and headlight upgrades... and it was money WELL spent!!!

I think this is what is called a catch 22.

doing this upgrade is fun and easy.

I did it myself following a diy and simple logic.

You have to remove the plastic cover under the light, remove 6 screws and the headlight is off.

When its out. You need to heat the headlight and remove the front cover glass.

after that you install the angel eyes and retrofit everything and voilaa.

Tools needed;

1- 8mm socket (2derhams Ace hardware)
2- Heat Gun (99 AED ace hardware)
3- Trox and Hex Screwdriver (15 derhams for kit)
4- clear selicone to fix the ccfls and apply some on presure points when reinstalling the light
5- Ccfl angel eyes of course:P (Im using a very bright Blue Uta rings hence the fine of AED 200 in sharjah:D)

If you would like to DIY you're more than welcome to contact me since I already have all the tools :P. I beleive that Ehsan is the professional here as I've seen from feedbacks over the forum, espacially with biXenon.

For everyone else: Im going to change the rings to neon white Once I get them :yessir: I dont like the blue myself but this is what u get when you ask your freinds from other countries to get you stuff :yawn:

Ehssan: The first photo is identical to what my car comes with. It has the halogen H7 high beam and the D2S xenon low beam. Can we talk now :) ?

question : if your xenon light is on , and you hit the high beam stick towards the engine , can you tell me which light is working ? ,

Xenon. Also, there's a biXenon sticker on the headlight.

OK nice ,, then you need a nice white CCFL angel eyes kit + I can enable flash to pass ( bixenon to flash when you hit the high beam towards the driver side .. and you will start blinding ppl on the highway ;) .

I've done several Complete Bixenon upgrade for few members here ,, but it's a bit pricey ,,so if you are looking for only bixenon for flash to pass ,then it's easy and cheap ,

regarding angel eyes , nothing hidden here ,, check the CCFL and the Orion LED angel eyes ( I prefer LED ones , you wont regret it ) Eoudeh Has them on his E46 ,, I'm sure he will give his feedback ..

mine it was Orion V2 60 Led which is amazing, i bought them from Omnitza.com and its very easy DIY; check this out (here i installed only 30 led) http://www.bmwclubuae.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3923
