An eventful journey....
Don't think it's entirely a positive one.
Knew that it had some leaks with it. 3 weeks into owing the car the water pump broke. Brought it to octane.
A normal fix turned into something like a nightmare. Almost every seal in the car was leaking. From the valve to the diff.
Replaced everything. Put new fluids.
Bushings were worn out. Changed it.
Total Cost 8926 AED.
After that took the car out. 2 days later felt like the steering was wobbling quite a bit while turning
Fix: replace front control arm bushing.
Took it to Sharjah replaced for 375 with parts.
2 days later heavy petrol smell through a/c.
Googled.
Advice from Google.
Don't drive the car. High chance of the engine catching fire.
Wonderful.....
Hmmm...
So car will be going back to Octane tmrw. Hope everything gets sorted out.
I really want the car to work.
One more thing.
Does any one know how to find which engine is in the car.
YouTube shows e46 330i hitting 250kmph.
My car is done by 210.
Any advice?
