Super, regardless. Higher octane fuel saves your engine from deadly knock damage. Especially in out hot environment.

Better to use Super, but it depends on the car sometimes whether to use Special or Super...

I use Super - High octane advised for M cars

You can use Special on X5, its 95 Octane and fine by it..
