Can someone please tell me why we don't have such events hosted in this part of the world?
It all started in Japan, then the Americans made their own version with Corvettes and Mustangs and now the Europeans made this. The King Of Europe Drift Championship. It is by far the most BMW infested of the three.
It's about skills, nice cars and the whole atmosphere of racing that's finally watchable, enjoyable and a hell of a lot more possible for most people today.
Rather than F1, GT and GP races where only multi-billion dollar teams and manufacturers compete, but for it is only watchable, no more.
This kind of sport doesn't need international FIA sanctioned tracks, pit lanes and grandstands. KOE used everything from parking lots to friggin sea ports!!!
Anyone who has a passion for going sideways can go ahead and join, sure you need to spend some cash but nothing crazy. And, no one starts pro so you take your first steps in a beat up used car that you modified on budget, then grow bigger and faster.
