Need help with my Video Camera....

Does any one have a PC or a Laptop that supports the DV ( Firewire Cable ) extension ? :unsure:

My laptop was supporting the DV extension , but not anymore ! :banghead:

Help needed to download my Videos on the forum.

I think its time to pay a visit to Sharaf DG, i think they should have cable converter from DV to normal USB ...go check and come back to me. Im offering a help with my hard disk for picture storage :D

I have the 4pins from the two sides Firewire Cable (shown in the 1st picture)....

USB would install a low quality video and it's too slow !:slap:

Apple platform
-QuickTime Player
-Roxio Toast
-Apple iMovie

Windows platform
-Apple QuickTime Player
-Roxio Easy Media Creator
-CyberLink PowerDirector
-Microsoft Windows Movie Maker
2. check your firewire port. Try using other gadgets thats supports firewire.
3. if its still not working buy a new cable :)

Tried the Microsoft Windows Movie Maker, Apple QuickTime Player and the Roxio Easy Media Creator....:blah: Nothing worked !! :sad:

My cable is new :read:, but define " Check your firewire port " please ! :nerd:

try to plug in a device that uses firewire port other than your dv camera. to check your port if its working :)

then if its still not working try clean uninstall and reinstall the software cd that came along with your dv camera :)
