Bugatti Veyron Fighter: 231mph, 1001 hp BMW M6

May 15th, 2015 by Horatiu Boeriu

German tuning shop G-Power unveils their latest project based on the previous generation E63 M6. The car belongs to a customer from UAE and has received a power upgrade which matches the one found in the Bugatti Veyron.

This is G-Power’s most powerful vehicle featuring a 5.0-liter V10 engine tuned up by a whopping 494 HP (363 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) to a grand total of 1,001 HP (736 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 900 Nm (665 lb-ft) at 6,000 rpm. The additional oomph was obtained after installing a twin supercharger system and a titanium exhaust system.

    The G-Power M6 now runs to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.3 seconds and hits 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9 seconds. The 0-300 km/h (0-186 mph) sprint takes 21.5 seconds before topping out at more than 370 km/h (230 mph).

Developed in the wind tunnel, the HURRICANE Wide Body kit takes styling cues from the key elements of the M6 design and harmoniously blends them with the G-POWER philosophy for a more purposeful look. This bespoke carbon-fibre body kit highlights the exclusivity of this ‘One-of-One’ edition.

To ensure that the chassis of the HURRICANE CS G6M would not be overwhelmed by the monstrous engine power, the engineers embarked on a comprehensive suspension upgrade that has been thoroughly track tested and signed off as the G-POWER ‘NÜRBURGRING SETUP’.

This consists of fully adjustable coil-over suspension that lowers the center of gravity and ensures unerring stability at speed. To counter the cars huge speed potential and lower unsprung weight, the four-wheel ceramic brake system uses 400 mm vented brake discs to help the driver of the G6 M HURRICANE CS ultimate stop safely at all times.

The massive G-POWER ceramic brake discs sit comfortably behind 9.0 and 10.5×21-inch HURRICANE RR ultra-light forged alloy wheels wrapped in 255/25ZR21 and 295/30ZR21 Michelin tyres. Among the lightest wheels available in these sizes, they perfectly complement the design ethos of the G6M HURRICANE CS ultimate.

Inside, almost all surfaces are covered in high-quality leather or Alcantara, featuring an innovative carbon imprint. The ultra light race style seats have carbon-fibre backs and hold occupants firmly in place at speed.

Key Facts: G6M V10 HURRICANE CS ultimate – the most powerful G-POWER vehicle ever.

Also why did they close this section? It cannot be good for the aerodynamics.

Also, the openings on the bonnet are designed as intake openings. However, the actual opening of the intake track is up front near the front bumper. This piece also seems to be dysfunctional.

In addition, don't see why it would need 21" wheels. Even 20" wheels would have cleared those brakes. It could have used more rubber to get better traction at low speeds.
