    Evolve & BMW Club JV - Fun Speed Run 3 - 2 March 2012 @ DA

Did somebody say "Speed Run", we could not hear you SPEED RUN, say again SPEED RUN

Ok, Ok, we heard you. Ladies, its that time again

This time not only have we teamed up with DA, we have also got the BMW Club men (RWD you see  ) joining us to organise this Event.

So yes, we are all there to bring you an event bigger and better event.

We (Evolve & BMW Club) have once again worked hard with the Team at Dubai Autodrome to bring you this event. The weather will be cool (ish) and the track will be spectacular as DA have kindly loaned us the use of the OVAL TRACK (most of you should know it by now).

Our very own Akram (Evo6.5) will be providing us with a layout that will be hard to beat for pace and technical skiils and not to mention a heck of a lot of fun and the mix of fast track with auto x driving (subject to the wind).

So, get your acts together and get your cars ready - its gonna be a blast

    Date: 2 March 2012 - Friday
    Where: Oval Circuit, Dubai Autodrome
Time: 12:15 - 13:20PM: scruntineering and drivers briefing
the fun starts at 13:30 SHARP!
the last car will leave the "gates" at approx 17:00 (subject to us getting the slightly extended timings)
    Cost: AED300 per car

You will need a Helmet. However, if you need a helmet, these can be rented at AED50

    Scrutineering:
    - Remove all loose objects from car,
    - Make sure your battery is secure,
    - Make sure your seatbelt is working,
    - Make sure your brakes are working.
    - Any drop/soft tops must be up and secure before you can run

We will run three (3) categories and 3 categories only:
    AWD cars (for ladies)
    FWD cars (for girls)
    RWD cars (for men)

We are aiming for a maximum of 30 cars (we will extend it if necessary), but we are concious of you guys getting the most out of your money by spending more time on the Track.

Anybody wanting to help out by being a Marshal or who can bring a camera to take pictures is very welcome.

DA will NOT allow passengers as we will be timing your runs.

Food and beverages will be provided.

So, lets have your names down and PLEASE, ONLY PUT YOUR NAMES DOWN IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO PARTICIPATE

                  Ladies/Gents,

We have 30 cars - the maximum we can take to give all drivers value for money on the day.

Anybody else from here on in will be on a Standby List. There are one or two names on the list who will need to confirm and should do as soon as possible so that other drivers can prepare cars etc.

Massive thanks to all of you for putting your names down early.

                  the 30 names as below.

It does - there is a great mix of cars in the RWD section. Looking forward to seeing the CR8 understeer all over the show! hahahahaha

this is as far as i understand (correct me if i am wrong) a public forum, where people share ideas on how to make the bmw lifestyle better and more pleasurable and enjoyable..where we benefit from others mistakes and learn from our own ,share experiences..all in a common goal to make everything and everyone better, not the opposite.. do i need to remind everyone of all the laughs we had and how many times we shared food and shisha together..how many times we all stayed up late to fix anothers friend (brother) issues?? This is what makes a community, us, people..a common understanding and fellowship..respect
